Grassy Sound Charters is based in Hampstead, NC and serves Wrightsville Beach, Topsail Island (North Topsail & Topsail Beach), Surf City, Sneads Ferry, and Jacksonville. We are convenient to the Greater Wilmington area and only 25 minutes from the ILM airport.

The USCG Veteran crew is amongst the safest and most professional that you will find in the industry. We will do our very best to make sure you have a safe, enjoyable, and productive time on the water. This includes 3 to 10-hour trips, mainly fishing for Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Snapper, Grouper, Seabass, Mahi-Mahi, Tuna and Wahoo depending on the season and conditions on the day. Our experience and knowledge is far reaching and that is what makes us a truly professional operation.

You will be riding on a 31’ Cape Horn center console boat that can comfortably take up to 6 persons. It is fast, dry, comfortable, and a head-turner! Whether you are looking for a laid-back trip on the coast or a hardcore fishing adventure offshore, this is the charter you have been looking for!

All rods, reels, terminal tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are included in the price so you can focus on enjoying yourself. Fish cleaning service may be available after your trip, but be sure to bring an adequately sized cooler if you will be keeping your catch.

A Mate will accompany all fishing charters and works for tips. 20% of the total trip price is customary.

No glass bottles aboard the vessel.
