This well maintained, gorgeously decorated, beach home features enormous roomy rooms with 1100+ sq feet of living space! Every detail in each room has been carefully and thoughtfully included to ensure a calming and comfortable vacation for you! The condo has 2 bedrooms, each with its own private, full bathroom. You'll also appreciate a full kitchen and comfortable living room space.

Sunset Beach is a peaceful family beach resort located on the North Carolina coast, just mins. from South Carolina. Our trademark is a pristine three-mile-long sandy beach, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and spectacular golfing. If you're looking for a place on the beach, stop now! We're at Sea Trail Resort, which is about a mile from the beach. We're about as close as you can get to the ocean yet have all of the amenities of a resort including three signature golf courses: Rees Jones, Dan Maples and Willard Byrd. A unique feature of our community is Bird Island, a 2000+- acre nature preserve that borders the west end of Sunset Beach and can only be accessed by land via the beach.

About the Area

Located in Sea Trail, a neighborhood in Sunset Beach, this vacation home is next to a golf course and near the beach. Russell Burgess Coastal Preserve and Heritage Shores Nature Preserve reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Ingram Planetarium and Museum of Coastal Carolina. Tribal Island and Planet Fun are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Finding the best value:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.

  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.

  • Lock your rental while you are away. Protect your property!
  • During arrival, document any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your peace. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
