If you're looking for a hideaway that's close to the beach but also has everything you and your family need to savor your vacation then the Beach Bum Game House is the home for you.

The pool will be completely open by April 15th every year. (They could be open a week or two before hand but we cant guarantee that, its all based off of weather)

  • In the Wilmington, NC area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Wilmington.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't leave anything behind. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on great ratings to stimulate new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective.
