This entirely remodeled pretty three bedroom condo has a comfortable open floor plan with enormous windows and tons of light. The living and dining areas have water vistas from both the balcony and deck. Unwind on the deck and appreciate the peaceful beauty of the sunset across the sound. The calming waterfowl and tides of the sound are simply indescribable. You may even have a dolphin sighting during high tide. There are docks for fishing and outdoor grilles for all your barbequing requirements. Three swimming pools, one of which is ocean front, and three tennis courts are at your disposal. The ocean front pool also has a deck with rocking chairs for a great ocean view. The beach is a short five min. walk from the condo. Ocean Isle Beach is a impressive beach for walking, sunbathing, swimming, shell collecting, and photography. It's a mile walk to the center of the island, our favorite coffee shop, Drift, and a nice selection of local eateries. The master bedroom has a king bed and a freshly modernized en suite bathroom. The second bathroom, also newly refreshed, can be entered from either the hallway or 2nd bedroom, which has two queen beds. The third bedroom has a queen bed and desk. We do not provide linen and towel service, but there are multiple linen service options available at OIB. The condo has intelligent TVs in every bedroom, as well as in the living room. Bring your log in information for Netflix, Prime, and most other trendy streaming services. The kitchen is completely equipped for 8 guests who savor cooking or just heating up takeout from one of the many island eateries. The huge dining room table seats 8 comfortably with vistas of the sound, and the living room overlooks the fishing lagoon. In addition we have covered parking for two cars. No family pets allowed, no exceptions. Ocean Isle Beach is about halfway between Myrtle Beach and Wilmington (about a 30-45 min. drive either way), close enough for dinner or shopping. Calabash and its famed seafood are just 20 mins. away. In addition there are about 20 golf courses within a 20 -min. drive of the island. Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind in the condo, on the balcony, or on the deck. The condo is professionally cleaned with all surfaces sanitized prior to each rental. From June through August, we can only accept Saturday to Saturday dates.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this condo is on the waterfront. While the natural beauty of Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can check out Cherry Grove Pier.
Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to reserve a Wilmington, NC rental home & When to go:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in Ocean Isle Beach. To get the best value, try changing your family's Wilmington, NC vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.

  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
