  • Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
  • Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic time? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
