Located in the Lighthouse Landing Community. With high ceilings, sunny rooms with tall windows and an open floor plan, this home is incredible for entertaining. Substantial dining table plus bar stools will comfortably seat 10 for meals. The entirely outfitted kitchen features brand new KitchenAid stainless steel appliances, new pots/pans, dishes and silverware. Washer and dryer are also new. Freshly painted interior.

The outdoor open deck has a direct walkway to a shared community dock on the Bald Head Creek for fishing and crabbing. Or meander through the maritime forest on one of the four bicycles supplied.

Cavernous master suite with King bed and freshly modernized bath including tile floor, double vanity with vessel sinks and charming soaking tub and a freshly enlarged tile shower with bench. 3 additional guest rooms and two full bathrooms upstairs (2 rooms have queens and the other has a bunk bed with queen on bottom and twin on top). Three flat screen TVs and wireless internet access are included.

Lighthouse Landing, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island, is home to Newly renovated lighthouse landing close to the ferry and island amenities, 2 golf carts.. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
Summer months are high season in Bald Head Island. To book the most suitable rental home for your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Wilmington, NC restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
Go through the property a final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
