Memories on Grace Cottage is located in the historic overlay of Downtown Wilmington. With a total living area of 1200 sf, this comfortable single story abode is packed full of character and appeal. It is 5 mins. from downtown Wilmington with its cozy shopping, eateries and vibrant nightlife, and 10 mins. from NC's handsome beaches. It sits at the end of the tree-lined street with Burnt Mill Creek on one side and Mary Bridgers Park behind it.

THE SPACE:
Guest have the entire home which includes 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, office, 1 full bath located between bedroom and office, and a half-bath in 2nd bedroom. There is a huge deck adjacent to Burnt Mill Creek as well as patio with a gas grille.

NOTE:
There is basement apartment, currently occupied, with a separate entrance that is NOT part of Memories on Grace rental.

Guest have access to the entire home with the exception of the basement apartment that has a separate entrance and is NOT supplied in Memories on Grace rental.

About the Area

Northside, a neighborhood in Wilmington, is home to this vacation home. Cape Fear Museum and Bellamy Mansion Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts and Brooklyn Arts Center at St. Andrews. Carolina Heights and Children's Museum of Wilmington are also worth visiting.

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. To get the largest rental within budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Wilmington, NC restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a great vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it.
