Our home features a fireplace, multiple private outdoor spaces, a newer 6-person golf cart with all-weather enclosures, and membership to both island clubs (BHI Club & Shoals Club) with guest access that can be purchased directly from the club. Kayak from our private community dock, go crabbing, or hop on the golf cart or bicycle to East Beach!

Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Cape Fear Station, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Carolina Beach and Caswell Beach. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting.

• Summertime is the most expensive season in the Wilmington, NC area. To book the largest rental home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
• In the Wilmington, NC area, The sooner you can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
