"Re-Lax" (formally Jake's Watch) is an ocean front duplex located with direct beach access and pretty sunsets! The first floor has the main living area, kitchen, dining, half bath and screen porch. The second floor has a king master suite with private ocean front balcony. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, bath and ocean vistas. There is a 3rd floor sleeping loft with a queen, 2 twins and a second half bath.

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in South Beach, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • To find the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Wilmington, NC attractions.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a great vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was great, they would love to hear it.
