* New to Vrbo, but we are superhost on AirBNB. * We wanted to reach a bigger audience by being on both platforms.

This property is an refreshed 1930’s beach bungalow located on an ocean front lot and just steps to the beach. We’ve kept the old school vintage appeal but added modern amenities. This home is located on the ocean side of the street but has a home between it and the ocean. The top deck has marvelous ocean vistas to the north and south and the living room has great sunrise vistas. Brand new stainless appliances and a completely outfitted kitchen.
The space
Guests will be staying on the top two floors of the property. There is a separate unit on the bottom level that is not a part of this rental. The two tenants living on the bottom level are extremely peaceful and you won’t even know they are there. Top floor has an open bedroom with a king bed and a bathroom with shower. This bedroom also has a deck off of it with ocean vistas. The lower level has 3 bedrooms, 1 king and 2 queens. It also has the kitchen, dining room with a table for 8, a full bath, the living room, another dining/game area for 4, and a covered porch. Each bedroom has its own mini split unit for bespoke temperature control. Linens, kitchen essentials, coffee to get you started, basic cleaning supplies, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, 8 beach chairs, 8 beach towels, kids sand toys, body boards, a few games and toys, 1 kids booster chair, and 1 pack n play are supplied with this rental.

This home is a 1930s classic so there are some unique quirks that you will notice. For example there are a few 6ft doorways, so taller guest, please watch your heads. There are also narrow interior stairways.

Guest access
2 parking spaces included.
While it is considered two parking spots guest can squeeze an additional car or two in if they are smaller cars.

Tips and Tricks to get the best Wilmington, NC vacation home experience:

When to visit Carolina Beach & When to reserve a rental home:

  • In the Wilmington, NC area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • To find the best value, change your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Some hosts offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have deals for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

How to choose the best rental home in Carolina Beach:

  • Select a group lead, select your dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Steps to the Beach, Ocean Views, Ocean front lot has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or charges might be applied to your invoice.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Additional considerations:

  • Put the host's information in your smartphone.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect your property!
  • To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, inspect the property for any problem areas during arrival. Speak to the rental manager immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a terrific vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
