Finding the best rental home value:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in Ocean Isle Beach. To find the best value, try changing your family's Wilmington, NC vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • The sooner your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.

  • At departure, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to propel more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review find their best rental home.
