Everything you need in a home! We have an open floor plan with the main living and master suite downstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and cavernous bathroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms with a shared bath. The second bedroom has a king bed and the third bedroom has 2 twins. Outside is a separate room (crofter). Our unique crofter has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and dining area. There is a queen bed, a queen murphy bed and a bathroom. There is plenty of room for another family! The outside space is just as nice! We have a great screened in porch and plenty of outdoor space with our fenced in back yard. We also have a 4 and a 6 passenger cart. We have thought of everything to make your stay with us ideal and memorable!

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Cape Fear Station, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including wildlife walks.

When to go & When to book:

  • To find the best value, try shifting your family's Wilmington, NC trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, , and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance.
