Discover the relaxing serenity of Bald Head Island tucked within elegant live oaks and over looking Hole #3 on the golf course. Our home consists of four bedrooms each having their own full bath. Three of the bedrooms all have queen size beds and the fourth bedroom consists of two twins each having a trundle. Our home features an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining and living area all on one level. The kitchen is the chefs dream. We are entirely outfitted and well equipped! We have a roomy screen porch and a sizable broad deck along the maritime forest. We are located on a half an acre, which is not common on Bald Head Island. We are very private although just around the corner from the beach, the harbor and the maritime stores. We have plenty of beach gear, 2 golf carts and wifi.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

• Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Summer months are the most expensive season in Bald Head Island. To find the best value, shift your vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You will need to work out what is right for your vacation group.
• Some rental properties allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.

Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective.
