Discover the peaceful serenity of Bald Head Island tucked within charming live oaks and over looking Hole #3 on the golf course. Our home consists of four bedrooms each having their own full bath. Three of the bedrooms all have queen size beds and the fourth bedroom consists of two twins each having a trundle. Our home features an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining and living area all on one level. The kitchen is the chefs dream. We are completely supplied and well equipped! We have a roomy screen porch and a huge broad deck along the maritime forest. We are located on a half an acre, which is not common on Bald Head Island. We are very private although just around the corner from the beach, the harbor and the maritime stores. We have plenty of beach gear, 2 golf carts and wifi.
Includes: Beach Chairs, Both a Regular and Keurig Coffee Maker & a French Press, Iron & Ironing Board,Hair dryer, Gas grille, & kids' booster seat.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Get the most from your budget:

• In the Wilmington, NC area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Bald Head Island. Book your rental home in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
• Find a copy of your local Wilmington, NC visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guides contain offers and deals for local accommodations and attractions.

• Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the host before you reserve the home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to establish which bed configuration is right for your vacation family.
• If your family is bringing pets, search for a property that allows animals. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
• Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
• Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking

Have a fantastic stay:

• Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your smartphone.

• Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
• Did you have a great stay? Most rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
