Situated on the edge of the Cape Fear River and the Intracoastal Waterway, and located just a quick cruise away from the Atlantic Ocean, Snow’s Cut Park is a popular destination for anglers, birdwatchers, and anyone who appreciates a stunning view of the local coastal environment.
Snow’s Cut Park has a pretty locale on the edge of its namesake waterway, and as a result, fishermen will have relatively easy access to a wide array of saltwater species that flock to this corner of the Cape Fear region. In addition, the park features a multi-age playground that will entice young visitors, as well as 13 picnic tables that are scattered throughout the natural park grounds. There are also two picnic shelters at the park that can be reserved by groups or families: one picnic shelter features seating for 30, while the other can handle gatherings of up to 45 people. With electric outlets, grills, and restrooms within walking distance, both shelters are popular spots for casual get-togethers for groups of all varieties. With a stunning setting that overlooks the local waterways as well as the nearby Carolina Beach State Park, the Snow’s Cut Park is a fine destination to relax with the abundant waters as an inviting backdrop.
