  • June, July, and August are high season in Oak Island. Reserve your rental home in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.

  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
