It's also conveniently located a fast walk from beach access, Middleton Park, eateries, grocery stores, and all of the fashionable attractions!

Upstairs, on the main level, you'll be greeted by the open floor plan with handsome and intricate coastal-inspired details throughout! The living space has enchanting vaulted ceilings, a comfortable leather sectional, and a huge flatscreen TV. The impressive bespoke dining table will definitely take your breath away with its unique design and seating for up to 12. For those who will be taking advantage of the completely equipped kitchen, you'll appreciate the stainless steel appliances, high-end finishes, and plenty of counter space. The extended peninsula has a strategically placed kitchen sink, pendant lighting, and bar seating for 2. We know you want to relax without stopping at the store when you get to the island. To get you started, we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, a dishwasher pod, a washing machine pod, dishwashing soap, hand soap at every sink, bath soap, and shampoo/conditioner.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7 nighttime minimum with a mandatory Saturday to Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. When to visit Oak Island & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To book the best vacation home for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.

  • Property managers often offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
