Welcome to "La Mer" (The Sea)! We look forward to hosting you and your family / friends at our little bungalow by the sea. The ICW is great for fishing, watching the waves roll in or you can rent a boat at the close by marina. Savor a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine on the front porch and listen to the ocean waves crashing on the shore of the Intercoastal Waterway.

A short distance to shopping, awe-inspiring eateries and the beach, it is the ideal location for a calming beach hideaway!
Our home has four bedrooms and two baths and can accommodate up to 10 people. All bedrooms and elegantly decorated with a beachy feel and come equipped with a intelligent tv.

POLICIES -

- Linens and towels are not included, but can be delivered (for an additional fee) or you can bring your own. If you would like to rent linens, please indicate such in your request to book.

- No events, events or sizable gatherings (of more than 10 people)
- Quiet time starts promptly at 10pm as a courtesy to our neighbors

We reserve the right to terminate your stay at any time if any of the aforementioned policies are broken, including exceeding the max. occupancy of 10 people. Must be at least 25 years old to book.

You will be responsible for any damage to the property or missing items caused by you or your guests during your stay.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Rees Jones Golf Course and Willard Byrd Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Ingram Planetarium and Museum of Coastal Carolina. Planet Fun and Tribal Island are also worth visiting.

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early.   • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.

  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute arises.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Upon check-out, complete a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on great reviews to stimulate more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
