  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Bald Head Island. To get the best value, shift your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.   • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
