Banana Cabana is a luxury five-bedroom oceanfront property, with spectacular ocean vistas from the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, and two oceanfront decks. Appreciate a elegant sunrise over the ocean, and throughout the day watch schools of dolphins swim by and flocks of pelicans dive for fish. Stroll out to the wide white-sand beach with direct access from the main living floor.

The home is gorgeously decorated to make this your home away from home during your stay. The wide-open floor plan between the kitchen, dining area, and living room, with ample seating, accepts for simple entertaining and quality family time. The well-equipped gourmet kitchen and gas grille make cooking a breeze. Afterward, relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine as the sun sets or take a dip in the lighted swimming pool. The home has a private, oceanfront pool and hot tub as well as an elevator.

Conveniently located within one mile is the Kure Beach town center, the famed Kure Beach Fishing Pier, Ocean Front Park with special events all year, Jack Mackerel’s Island Seafood, Big Daddy’s Seafood Buffet, and Freddie’s Italian (since 1940). Or walk up the beach a half mile to the Tiki Bar Pier, a great beach bar on the pier with modest plate seafood items. The home is within two miles of the NC State Aquarium at Fort Fisher, a civil war site, and about the same distance to the Boardwalk in Carolina Beach with live music, weekly fireworks (in season), and dozens of deep-sea fishing boats, eateries, and stores. For a change of pace, take the 30-min. car Ferry at the southern tip of the island to the appealing historic town of Southport where many movies have been filmed.

Wilmington is a 25-min. drive away with its exceptional Riverwalk along the Cape Fear River, casual and fine dining, one of the biggest historic districts in the country, and the Battleship North Carolina, open for tours.
