Looking for a Pleasure Island hideaway thats less than a block to the Atlantic, its own POOL, and a private balcony with Atlantic vistas to savor those painted sunrises and salty breezes? "Sea Ya Soon!" may be just the sea-escape everyones been waiting for!

Managed by SWRE, this modern and impeccably accessorized Sandcastle brings the BEST of our Island right to your doorstep. From vitamin Sea and beach-combing, to a fast jaunt Downtown, heaven is TRULY at your sandy fingertips!

Pleasure Island (Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher) has become a RAPIDLY increasing vacation (and full-time!) destination for the East coast and beyond for many reasons. It’s a family-aligned beach with a touch of everything one might be looking for! It’s an AMAZING place to visit, live, and never leave!

The home is directly on the North End of Carolina Beach and is a long walk or short drive from downtown Carolina Beach and everything that is has to offer. In Carolina Beach you’ve got the boardwalk, eateries, and local stores of all kinds. If you like adventures, the marina is also there where you can take an offshore fishing trip, diving excursion, or event boat out for a sunset sail. Camping more your thing? Bring the 4X4 and drive (and camp) on the beach at Freeman Park, located on the North End of the island. You can also head down to Kure Beach and fish directly off their fishing pier complete with bait, tackles, and more! You can also head down to Kure Beach and fish directly off their fishing pier complete with bait, tackles, and more! The Carolina Beach Lake is close by, hosting a weekly Farmer’s Market every Saturday and FIREWORKS every Thursday. We welcome you to sit back, relax and appreciate yourselves because that's exactly what the beach is for!

The entry to this 2 bedroom and 2 bath home opens up into a huge, furnished family room combined with an open dining area and completely equipped kitchen (stove oven, and refrigerator). The kitchen is supplied will all the basic cooking and dining silverware one should expect (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.). In addition, there is a microwave, a french press, a drip and Keurig coffee maker ready to help make yourself at home (while on Vacay!).

But the highlights of this home will make you feel 50 shades of BLUE! Your partial Atlantic balcony vistas and un-obstructed salty Sea breezes from an array of vantage points throughout the home really make for a special excursion! As if partial Atlantic vistas, crisp morning breezes, and pelicans floating in tandem overhead less than a block away wasn’t enough, a private pool shared only with your handful of building "neighbors" let's you check both the "saltwater" AND "freshwater" boxes respectively on your ADVENTURE!

A few of the amenities supplied by your Owners include courtesy sizable shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel left in the bathroom of each bath as well. Also, a roll of TP in each bathroom, 1 roll of PT in the kitchen, 2 garbage bags per garbage, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dryer sheets, hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, coffee, tea, and pure cane sugar in each kitchen. Additional items are likely on sight as well!

The home's ONE (1) KING, ONE (1) QUEEN and ONE (1) QUEEN pullout consists of either a plush luxury bed or a new encased memory foam/cooling gel composition bed because we want all of our guests to be comfortable when it comes time to recharge. *REMEMBER; a pullout is a PULLOUT. It will never bet as cozy as a bed. :)

There are Tvs in each room and a 55' TV in the living room along with a WIFI computer connection for when it's time to sit back and savor some movies or shows after a long day at the beach! Bring a Fire Stick, Apple TV, Laptop w/ HDMI cable or other such casting device if looking to ensure all of the tech amenities from home are available during your stay!

We equip each suite with its own combination of books, games, and misc. accessories to help cover the basis for our guests to enjoy themselves in rain or shine. Sometimes however, these items are removed from the suite and not replaced, and we do not always realize it (tsk tsk!). If you notice something we’ve bragged about missing please let us know!

THE POOL: !!!closed for season!! Pool is available at Reefs II location within short walking distance (address: 1503 Carolina Beach Ave N)

The HOME: Guests have full access to their own PRIVATE unit (never shared) along with a respective deck and balcony(s).

Pleasure Island is a coastal barrier island in Southeastern North Carolina, USA just south of the City of Wilmington. Pleasure Island is located within Federal Point Township, in New Hanover County. The coastal resort towns of Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, as well as the annexed communities of Wilmington Beach and Hanby Beach are located on the island. The building itself is roughly one hundred feed from the Sea Oats Lane Public Access. The property is a long walk or short drive from downtown Carolina Beach with its stores, activities and dining and is equidistant to the smaller, but just as gorgeous Downtown Kure Beach with its fishing pier and aquarium. You can also head down to Kure Beach and fish directly off their fishing pier complete with bait, tackles, and more! The Carolina Beach Lake is close by, hosting a weekly Farmer’s Market every Saturday and FIREWORKS every Thursday. We welcome you to sit back, relax and enjoy yourselves because that's exactly what the beach is for!

Carolina Beach is a mix of friendly locals, snowbirds, and visitors all looking to escape the inland and enjoy the sand, surf, and sun. We really have an impressive community! Carolina Beach and the surrounding neighborhoods offer an array of sights and activities to enjoy while here. Some of these examples are (but not limited to) a subtle beach hike through Carolina Beach State Park, Fishing on the Kure Beach Pier, kayaking to one of the many islands surrounding the Intracoastal Waterway, watching canons blast during a historical reenactment at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, or petting some Sting Rays at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. This doesn’t even include the aweing scenery of Airlie Gardens, and our very own battleship (USS NC) in Wilmington! Perhaps more calming and less “adventure” is your speed? Our own local Brewery (Good Hops) along with a round of Frisbee golf may be what the doctor ordered!

There isn’t anywhere or anything on our Island that isn’t accessible with foot power. Downtown Carolina Beach has numerous vendors such as Tony Silvagni’s Surf School @ 308 S Lake Park Blvd, Carolina Beach, NC 28428 (bicycles, paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks, chairs, and umbrellas) for rent as an alternative to walking or driving. There's Sun Fun Units @1204 N Lake Park Blvd Unit F Carolina Beach, NC 28428. Taxi’s (local golf cart taxi’s) and Uber’s are also generally available for an assist when needed as well throughout the island! You can catch a Ferry to Southport in Kure Beach @ 2422 Fort Fisher Blvd S Kure Beach which leads to another ferry to Bald Head Island where NO CARS are allowed at all!

After all, you won’t catch many locals going OTB! (Over The Bridge). Everything you need is right here!

•Salt Water Real Estate has partnered with the absolute best vendors our Island has to offer to help ensure guests can spend more time appreciating themselves and less time researching! Our partners include the Tony Silvagni Surf School for professional surf lessons, bicycle, umbrella and chair units, Hot Ticket Fishing Charters, Salty Dog Yoga, Amy’s Rise N Shine, and Griffin Cleaning and linens. Pool Rules:

1. Walk, don’t run. The number one pool safety rule is to never, ever run near a swimming pool. Slipping on wet concrete is a real concern and serious injuries can result.

2. Listen to instructions and obey pool rules. Public pools may have different rules regarding conduct and play in the pool, including allowed toys and attire. Always obey the pool rules.

3. No diving in the shallow end. Only dive in designated areas, and never dive into an above-ground pool. Diving injuries can have a lifetime of consequences.

4. No roughhousing. Drowning accidents can occur during rough play in the pool, especially with young kids. No jumping on each other in the pool, or holding anyone underwater.

5. Don’t play around drains and covers. Even when properly equipped, pool drains and covers can be hazardous. Never play near drains or suctions. Entrapments occur when someone or something becomes stuck to these drains or suctions and pose a serious danger to young kids who are too modest to break away. If you are a pool owner, inspect your drains and covers regularly to ensure proper function.

6. Never swim alone. No one should swim alone and kids should definitely never be left unsupervised in a pool, even if they are proven accomplished swimmers. Drowning accidents are vastly more likely to occur when the victim is alone or unsupervised.

7. Sun safety is part of the deal. Always wear sunscreen when swimming outdoors and wear appropriate clothing poolside.

Tips to get the optimal vacation rental experience:

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in the Wilmington, NC area. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring is a good way to save on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Look for your local Wilmington, NC visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have offers and deals for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Filter your rental search:

  • Select a designated group leader, choose your trip dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. \"Sea Ya Soon!\" - A Blue Pool & SEA Views! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking pages. Otherwise, contact the property owner before you reserve your rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You'll need to determine what configuration is right for your group.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must book a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you looking for particular amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

Have a great stay:

  • Get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your . Put the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • During arrival, record any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to propel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
