*Parking for max. of 4 cars available in driveway. Attached garage is for owner’s access only and is not part of the rented property.

*While we encourage guests to make the most of their vacations, we must adhere to a stringently enforced NO PARTY rule in accordance with the property’s HOA regulations and Vacation Rental By Owner Community Disturbance Policy. In addition, max. occupancy is limited to the number of guests reported at time of booking.

*Well-behaved, home-trained dogs (max. of two) are welcome for a non-returnable additional fee of $100 per stay for first dog, and $50 per stay for second dog. Dogs MUST be added at time of booking. Dogs must be crated when left alone in the home, and be on leash when outside. Dog waste must be picked up and thrown in trash cans behind home using plastic bags. If pet waste is not removed, there will be an additional $50 charge. *Fee for first dog charged with booking; fee for second dog if applicable charged separately as additional “Trip Change” fee.

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • Summer months are high season in Carolina Beach. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local Wilmington, NC area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers.   • Be a good neighbor. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • At departure, take a walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a fantastic stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
