Summary:
Located at the corner of front and main in downtown Wrightsville Beach, the WB Abodes team is happy to introduce 'The Tarrymore'. Its name stems from the iconic hotel that sat on the corner of Lumina Ave and Stone street in the early 1900’s.

All three units come equipped with full kitchens, full baths, Juliet balconies, washers and dryers, as well as elevated linens and bath products. 'The Lumina' is a 2 bedroom and 1 bath unit with vistas of Banks Channel.

The Lumina is a completely refreshed and professionally designed space up-fitted with our highest-end amenities including Parachute linens, Parachute bath towels, Malin & Goetz soaps/hair products and is supplied with Casa-Blanca coffee! The Lumina ideally balances luxury with a laid back surfer's getaway feel, portraying the two sides of what make Wrightsville Beach so beautiful.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The Tarrymore is in the heart of downtown Wrightsville Beach…putting itself within walking distance to the beach and also right across the street from Wrightsville’s favorite nightlife. There is a potential for noise, however during renovations we took as many steps as possible to remedy this by having impact glass windows and doors installed, double sheetrock, insulation and provide white noise machines in each bedroom.

The Tarrymore is located above the iconic ‘Tower 7’ and is home to three WB Abode units. All of them are 100% private and only share a parking lot and lobby! The Lumina has 1 assigned parking space directly behind the unit, with signage!

Other Things to Note:
1. ***NO EVENTS or exceeding the guest limit***
2. Unit is directly across the street from multiple ‘late nighttime’ establishments so there is a potential for noise Thursday-Sunday.
3. As a professional property management firm, we do require a signed rental agreement per the NCREC.
4. Inclement weather will not be grounds for any refund if within the cancellation period.

Located in Wrightsville Beach, this apartment is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. Aussie Island Surf Shop and Cape Fear Paddleboarding are also worth visiting.

Finding the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the largest rental within your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.

  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to inspire future reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review.
