Second bedroom features a queen-sized bed and closet with hangers.

The kitchen features refrigerator, electric stove, microwave and dishwasher. It includes cookware, dishes, glasses, coffee cups, silverware, drip coffeemaker and an assortment of accessories. Unit has washer/dryer combo for conveniently washing wet towels and swimsuits. Back patio overlooks the marsh. Front patio faces the ocean. Basic towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, and liquid body soap are supplied.

Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Wilmington, NC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
