Isn’t it high time that you savor a little Beach Treat? Gather the family and check in at this coastal-chic bungalow located just three rows back from the ocean and in walking distance of Ocean Crest Fishing Pier.

Settle in the living room to stream a favorite show together as you reflect on the day’s adventures. The open concept living space flows into the eat-in kitchen, where four or more can sit around the center island and keep the family chef company as they prepare the catch of the day or fresh local produce - everything you need to prepare meals for your crew is included. The round kitchen table also seats four to five people, so there’s plenty of space for everybody. Rolling barn doors close off a roomy laundry closet with a full-sized washer and dryer.

On the east side of the home, the ocean-facing bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, and the full bathroom has a standard tub/shower combo and hall access. On the west side of the home, the second bathroom offers the same layout and is located between the remaining two bedrooms. The oceanfront room on this side also provides a queen bed, while the streetside bedroom has two twins. All bedrooms as well as the common areas offer ceiling fans for your comfort, and you’ll find wood floors throughout the home with the exception of tiled bathrooms.

Outside, the partially covered front porch offers glimpses of the Atlantic and furnishings for dining or calming and wraps around one side of the home to a generous back deck where you can soak in the sunshine. Look out over the grassy backyard, where a modest copse of trees shades an striking seating area with a natural bench fashioned from a fallen trunk.
Under the home, a porch swing provides the ideal shady spot to sway and listen to the waves, while an enclosed outdoor shower makes rinsing off after visiting the beach fast and painless. Speaking of the beach, you’ll be on the sand in moments each day thanks to a beach access point roughly 400 feet from your front door. Centrally located on Oak Island, Beach Treat is convenient to local activities, stores and eateries, as well as the bridge leading to beautiful Southport and its many stores and historic points of interest. So whether your idea of a vacation is to taking long naps in the island breeze, exploring local landmarks or teeing up for 18 holes at one of the area's playable but challenging golf courses, you will find your island home at Beach Treat!
