If you are looking for the ideal upgraded vacation home, look no further! "SEASALT" is a bespoke constructed 4 bedroom 4.5 bath home is located in Cape Fear Station on Bald Head Island. Walk past the welcoming entry way into an open floor plan downstairs that has been professionally decorated. In the living room you will find handsome beams in the ceiling over the sectional in the living room that has plenty of space for the family. Appreciate the chefs kitchen with a huge quartz island and a separate butlers pantry ideal for entertainment. One of the best features includes a sizable screened in porch with constructed in grilling area. The first bedroom is downstairs with a king bed and attached bathroom with a tiled shower. Upstairs offers one bedroom with a queen bed and constructed in bunk bed (2 twins) with attached bathroom that has a double sink and shower. The other bedroom is a queen room with attached bathroom that has a shower/tub combo. The master bedroom has a king bed and enormous bathroom getaway with double sink counter and a tiled shower along with a stand alone tub. Explore the island in one of the two new four passengers or access the BHI lifestyle club for separate purchase.

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • Summer is high season in the Wilmington, NC area. To get the largest rental for your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Wilmington, NC attractions and restaurants.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise.
