The pool is open year round and can be heated for an additional cost of $150 a day. When heated, the pool water should be between 80-84 degrees depending on outside air temperatures and weather. You must pay for the entire stay and can not pick and choose days you want the pool heated. We can not guarantee the pool water temperatures due to the dependency of the weather and air temperatures, however the gas heaters are very effective during most conditions. Please keep in mind that the heater only runs when the pool pump is running and typically the pump does not run at nighttime due to time schedule.The pool and/or spa is private and unattended, so swim at your own risk. All kids must be supervised in the water at all times by an adult. No food, drinks, alcohol, glass, etc are allowed in or around the pool. Pools are serviced regularly, however please keep in mind that due to the tropical nature of the island, it is not unusual to find unexpected debris and sand in the pool.We cannot guarantee the elevator will be working due to circumstances out of our control. Professionally decorated and designed to maximize comfort and luxury, Life on the Sea is equipped for a fun and calming vacation for your family and friends.We have five comfortable and charmingly decorated bedrooms (Two primaries - one downstairs and one upstairs) each with private bath. Four of the rooms are oceanside with decks. The bunkroom offers a fun sleeping arrangement for the kids. The first floor features a huge living area with 50-inch, flat screen HD TV and Spectrum TV with huge dining table that seats eight. The entire front of the home is lined with 5 1/2 foot windows (and three skylights) facing the ocean which fills the main living area with loads of natural light and beautiful vistas. The open gourmet kitchen features Thermador appliances, granite counter tops and is flanked on two sides by a breakfast bar that seats a total of five. A dry bar, outfitted with a variety of glassware, offers a drink refrigerator and ice maker. The upstairs loft has a comfortable seating area with 55 inch, flat screen HD TV with Spectrum TV, along with a game table. In addition, window seats in the dormers provide the ideal spot to read a book. Painted wood floors are throughout the home. The home is exceptional! We enjoyed being across the street from the ocean. Our 80-year-old grandmother appreciated having her room on the main floor and she had no difficulty with the steps going to the beach. Interestingly we discovered bioluminescent photo plankton on the beach. Stomping the sand or swishing your foot on the sand at nighttime create a dazzling sparkle show. Amazing. The property manager was so helpful and everything went so smoothly could not have asked for a better place or a better property manager.

Our home is very close to the pier, market, ice cream shop, equipment units and of course, the beach! The front porch offers impressive vistas of both the ocean and the striking NC coastal sunset/rise. Warm summer nights can be spent listening to the ocean from the rocking chair porch or exploring the island by foot or bicycle. Our home is a short drive to golf, Calabash, Little River and Myrtle Beach but without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle.Indoor Space:This well-appointed condo comes ready with everything you could need. The enormous bedroom has a King bed, en-suite full bath with tub, rocking chair with foot stool and a sitting bench. Second room has 2 Queen beds with full bath (2 steps across the hall) with walk-in shower. The living room has a couch that expands to a Queen sleeper couch-bed. The full kitchen, dining room and living room boast a sizable open floor plan lending to a exceptional gathering space. Our dining room table seats 6 and there are 2 additional barstools at the kitchen counter over-hang. The kitchen comes completely outfitted with cookware, dishes, cups, silverware and an assortment of spices to get you started. In addition to the usual kitchen appliances, available to you is a dual coffee maker, accepting both drip coffee or single serve (K-cup compatible). Our home has a dishwasher and full washer and dryer. Complete linens are also supplied. It will also include our suggestions of things to do and places to eat, as well as resources for services available in the area. There will be a printed version available at the condo.Guests will access our home during their stay via a unique code for the keyless intelligent-lock. For parents with kids: there is a manual safety lock high up on the inside of the front door. There is one outward facing Ring doorbell camera on our front door.Please note that this is a top-floor unit. There are roughly 30 stairs to get to our front door.
